Our Lady of Guadalupe Stripe Scarf | Catholic Blessed Mother Print, Polyester Veil
One of the most honored devotions to Mary is Our Lady of Guadalupe. The image as it appeared on the tilma of Juan Diego is miraculous in not just how it was inscribed, but by the way it evangelizes in the patterns.
Our “Guadalupe Stripe” depicts the symbolic patterns, all holding unique meaning.
The aureole or luminous light surrounding the Lady is reminiscent of the "woman clothed with the sun" of Rev. 12:1.
The stars on the Mary’s mantle show that she comes from heaven. She comes as the Queen of Heaven but with the eyes of a humble and loving mother. The blue-green color depicts royalty.
The color of her dress is rose or pale-red. Some have interpreted this as the color of dawn symbolizing the beginning of a new era.
The black stripes symbolize Mary’s sash which depicted her pregnancy.
A Miraculous Medal is sewn on the hem of every scarf we sell, in order to add the promised graces Mary gave to St. Catherine in Paris, 1830.
The scarves are handmade in India by a Christian family business. The scarf, like all my products, are sourced from small makers that I personally know. 100% polyester, soft and lightweight, yet when doubled up, the scarves are quite warm. Some wearers use the scarves as veils. Polyester is the fabric choice, as the fabric dyes through both sides. Cotton and linen can only print on one side.
Our scarves can be tied in many styles and are a wonderful, holy accent to your wardrobe. 72 x 32 inches.
Our Lady of Guadalupe, pray for us!
