Our Lady's Spring Garden Scarf | Blessed Mother Floral Print with Miraculous Medal

This beautiful Our Lady's Spring Garden is our own design depicting some of the early spring flowers that also symbolize The Blessed Mother. A lovely pink background with beautiful shades of yellow, blue, lavender, white and green stems makes this design match with everything.

The teaching of the Catholic faith and Mary through flowers is said to have begun in the MIddle Ages so priests could teach the illiterate the faith.

Some of the meanings of our early spring flowers will remind us we are wearing a scarf that honors the Lord's Mother.

The tulip has been called "Mary’s Prayer" and it was taught to represent Mary’s fullness of grace. The blossom with an upward-facing cup or chalice reflects Our Lady’s openness to and filling with grace.

The daffodil is also known as "Mary's Star" because of the shape of the blossom.

The pansy is also known as the Trinity Flower because of the three petals and Mary was the first to know the Trinity. It is also called Our Lady's Delight and even Mary's Face.

The Forget-Me-Not is also called Eyes of Mary because of an old legend that teaches if you stare long enough at the flower you will see paradise, just as Mary saw paradise in her Son.

Attached to each scarf is a mini Miraculous Medal. The medal design was made in 1832 with the approval of the Catholic Church after Mary had appeared to St. Catherine Laboure. The medal was quickly distributed throughout France. and blessings that Mary had promised flowed to all who wore the medal. It became referred to as "The Miraculous Medal" and is still one of the strongest devotions throughout the world in the Catholic Church, just behind the rosary.
