Catholics celebrate the Queenship of Mary because her Divine Son is King.
Pope Pius XII, having declared the dogma of the Assumption, that “the Immaculate Mother of God . . . was assumed body and soul into heavenly glory,” then established the feast of her Queenship. He set the date for the octave (8th day) after the Solemnity of the Assumption, that is, August 22nd each year.

Our own fabric design depicting many of the crowns that Our Lady has been seen wearing. The floral wreath around the crowns represents Mary as the New Eve and Mary’s perfection in creation.
Each one of our scarf designs is adorned with a Miraculous Medal on the hem to add the promised graces from Mary. The scarves are not blessed, but it is a lovely idea to have them blessed by a priest.
