If you’re a football fan, you most likely have heard of the “Hail Mary” pass. As described by Roger Staubach, a devout Catholic NFL quarterback who popularized the phrase, he said, “Well, I guess you could call it a Hail Mary. You throw it up and pray.” Roger Staubach is from Cincinnati, playing high school football just around the corner from my home.

The idea for the bag came from driving by his alma mater often and seeing the beautiful statue of Mary on the school property. A sports fan attending frequent sporting events, I struggled to find a see-through bag for games that was stylish and high quality enough to wear for games as well as non-game days. I received so many compliments the first 2 sporting events I attended with the bag and it made clearing security a breeze!

Hand made in Peru as part of a fair-trade mission, the soft, beautiful brown leather bags with a thick vinyl window, are superb quality. Lined with a Mary shade of blue and white striped fabric, the bags can be worn three ways with two handle options as seen in the photos.
