Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Mary Scarf Miraculous Medal

The original icon of Our Lady of Perpetual Help depicts Mary holding the child Jesus, with two angels on either side of them. The Church of St. Alphonsus in Rome, Italy is where the original is housed.

The icon of Our Mother of Perpetual Help is one of the most well-known and loved images of the Blessed Virgin known to Catholics. The history of this image is long and miraculous. I invite you to read the history behind the original and many of the miracles attributed to her.

Many Churches in the USA house images of Mary depicted by this devotion and many miracles have been attributed to praying for Mary's intercession under this title. The first replica that was touched to the original was brought to the USA by The Redemptorists and housed in Boston. It is reported that miracles began happening upon venerating Mary at the church in Boston. 

As with all of our scarves, there is a Miraculous Medal sewn to the scarf for the added protection promised by Mary to St. Catherine in Paris, 1830.
